About this Website

This page was built because I wanted to write a page about my experience on how this site came to be. We can spend hundreds or thousands of dollars trying to find a good business opportunity to make some money. I was one of those who spent a lot of money especially in the very beginning. After 9/11 I made it a point to learn about investing. I saw how families were affected by the tragedy and I knew that I wanted to protect mine at all cost. I had no idea what the Dow, NASDAQ and the S&P were at the time. Although I did know that it was related to the stock market. The very first thing I did was to participate in my company's 401(k) plan (I was 35). After a few years I knew that a lot of people were not investing or saving for their retirement because they were either intimidated or they simply did not know how to go about it. So I decided to write about it and to teach myself along the way. The best way I thought was to create a simple website.

I ended up spending a lot of money trying to figure out the best way to build a site. I knew what I wanted, but the problem was getting around the learning curve. I didn't have the knowledge or the experience to build a site. I found it difficult to find the perfect site building program to get me started.
